Phone plan for Spain and France
Hi, I'm with Virgin mobile and was wondering if I should get a sims from Spain (5 days) and France (10 days) or use the travel plan (with data) from Virgin. Which one is cheaper ?

The carrier roaming plans are $12 a day in Europe. Other than convenience factor for a single day or very short trip, it will almost always be cheaper to get a sim. There's EU/EEA wide roaming so you only need 1 sim for both countries. See the EU SIM card thread for more information if you wan to get a card here before you go: european-sim-card-2163493/ Otherwise you can get a SIM card in Spain from Orange or Vodafone for something like 10-15 EUR with 5 gb and a few mins of calling.
