Pillitteri Wines 12 bottles for $99 FS

Deal Link:
Price:
$99
Expiry:
May 16, 2020
Retailer:
Pillitteri
Case of white, case of red or mixed case for $99 (so, $8.25 bottle). FS to Ontario, British Columbia, Manitoba and Nova Scotia. Pillitteri website says Canada Post shipping but @KIng31 says UPS. I trust @King31.
Not much detail. Just the tasting notes and that it is their farmer's market blend. I don't suppose farmer's markets will be opening anytime soon, maybe the reason for the sale?

https://www.pillitteri.com/product-category/tablewines/

Here's some info on the red from the LCBO site (note: reg price $10.95 so the $57 savings shown on the website may be overtstated - still, for $8.25/bottle...) https://www.lcbo.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ ... rgHXWhKiUk

Enjoy!

We have the Farnese Fantini Sangiovese Puglia at SAQ for $8.90, 750ml. For the price, it's ok. I'll probably never buy it again. I rather pay a little bit more for a wine I'll enjoy.

If you're a daily drinker, I find the Magnotta bag-in-box best value for taste (especially 16L):
https://www.magnotta.com/Bag-In-Box

I also like the fact the BiB's you can pour two glasses of wine without having an open bottle overnight or several days. They keep fresh for months.

I ordered a mixed case anyway. We run a cottage AirBnb and this is a perfect gift for guests.

Do they offer free shipping?

15 g of sugar per L for Gothic Red seems sweet. FYI

15g of sugar jesus! And Ontario wine is just generally blah so hard pass between those two non-starters. Not to mention Canada Post still refusing to do its actual job.

None the less thanks for sharing OP, quality of wine and Canada Post ain't your doing, +1 for the deal!

Currently no! +1 for the deal for a reason lol. If you "need" wine $8.25 is hard to beat. I could likely suggest a few but they would be a few dollars more. The 15g of sugar is just a plain no go for wine for me. I have a hard time stomaching anything past 6g or 7g tops.

Ask any employees at the SAQ Selection to assist you. They are really well trained. Tastes are different, but bad wine is universally bad.

Pilliteri is a fantastic winery. They have excellent staff and customer service at their physical location in Niagara on the lake. Would be happy to support them... that being said.. when I do stop by for some tasting I am picky about their wines and only like a small selection of them. Usually the heritage blends. I know their lower tier wines do not appeal to me at all. It’s more the mid to higher end. But good deal none the less for those looking for a deal. Thanks OP for sharing.

This is the wine to share with people you don't like.
