Pixel 3 + $550 or Samsung S20 FE?

Pixel 3 + $550 or Samsung S20 FE?

My husband has his Pixel 3 and just got Samsung S20 FE as part of a new plan. He can’t decide should he keep existing Pixel and sell the Samsung or keep the Samsung?

He is deciding between losing support from Google in Nov when the no longer support the Pixel 3 vs keeping Samsung and use that phone instead.

How do you guys handle the difference between $$$ (selling new phone which has support for now) and security?

There is no other phone he is interested in right now and he is happy with his current phone.

He asked me to post on RFF for opinions.

It really depends what you want in a phone. But to be honest, he's probably better off with the S20 FE, especially since he's losing support in Nov.
I've actually been using the S20 FE for almost a year now and love it. The only thing that I really had to get used to was the size as it's the largest display I've ever had on a phone.

I would keep the Pixel 3 and $$$.
It supports VoLTE and VoWIFI on most carriers.

if he's happy with his phone, i'll sell the samsung and can use that towards a pixel 6 or even S21 5G later.

the pixel 3 is still a very good phone and the S20 FE is pretty meh.
