*DO NOT scan QR game code in the pizza pizza app, it does nothing (this is what misleads most people)

- you must be logged into your PP app (not necessarily as a 1111 member)

- make sure your location is OFF, open PP app, and manually enter 40 Bay St (address for Scotiabank arena), then minimize the PP app, do not close it.

- the QR code is only valid to be scanned until the game is over, maybe 15 mins after game ended MAX. Within that timeline, scan QR game code with your camera app, Google lens camera or any other QR code scanner app, and wait for orange pizza pizza webpage with game date appears OR click on the link the scanned code creates. That link will automatically reopen the PP app and the place holder coupon will appear in your club 1111 coupons section

If it doesn't, clear cache, delete app, redownload app, Try again. If it takes you to password change screen, X out on the top left, choose location 40 bay st. then log in. The place holder coupon will appear.

Remember to turn on push notifications in android system app settings for that pizza pizza app.

The next morning around 10 am, you will get a push notification from PP and when you open the app, the actual coupon will now be there. Your location can be on OR just enter your actual location's postal code - the coupon will not show up is you're still entering 40 Bay St.

If not, you didn't enter the QR code within the timeline and/or your location wasn't set to 40 Bay st.

IF you're actually at the game, it's the exact same procedure, with the exception if your location is on, you won't need to manually enter the address ALTHOUGH some people at the game (me) didn't have a good GPS signal, so I still had to manually enter it.

** Shout out to Allen84 for also figuring this out as well as the QR code system! 👏🙌👏🙌
Apparently, this is for people who watched the game at the stadium only,

Interesting - didn't realize they were doing this, but unlike the McDonald's fries promo, looks to be only for fans actually attending the games in person. Not sure how this works in detail / how they are enforcing / verifying this.
The 2021/2022 sports season marks the return of fans in stadium along with a new and improved ‘Score A Slice’ program. The historic program has been redesigned for the Toronto Raptors and for the first time ever will be brought to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The program will only be available to fans attending the game in stadium and the prize will be a free slice of pepperoni or cheese pizza. Details on the program with each team can be found below.

TORONTO RAPTORS: When an opposing team misses two free throws back-to-back in the fourth quarter, fans at the game “score a slice”, to be redeemed the next business day. The trigger will no longer be 100+ points and a win – this is now an in-game trigger and only available during home games.

TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS: When the Toronto Maple Leafs score the first goal in the first period, fans at the game “score a slice”, to be redeemed the next business day. This trigger can only occur during the first period of the each home game.

I am able to see the free slice even not having attended the games in person.

Kinda too little too late to post it past 10pm when most locations are closed and the deal is only active today.

"to be redeemed the next business day." They scored today, so should be available tomorrow. Not sure how they valid you were at the game.
