According to their website it's 7g carbs per 1/6 of a 10" pizza.

So 42g carbs for a small pizza... compared to the same small 10" pizza with regular crust has 144g. It's significantly less, but still high for Keto.

Keto is all about net carbs, not total carbs which is 2 per slice. Entire pizza is 12 net carbs. So as far as carb consumption on keto goes, that's really good. Under 20 net carbs per day will put 99% of the population into ketosis. Some others can have more but 20 grams is that magical spot where you are safe

Nice. Hopefully it is serviceable. This is always something I miss. When you do have some, could you share your opinion?

Tried it tonight. The crust is soggy and has a funky smell.

I just tried it the meat lovers version, it was very good. No funky smell at all other than the smell of pizza. I couldn't even taste the crust as the amount of cheese sauce and toppings covered the taste. When I got to the end of the crust where there was no toppings left and only crust I could taste the crust by itself and it tastes exactly like the keto bun at Mr. sub that they sell which makes sense as it's from the same company.

Mine wasn't soggy. Yes it has more of a whole wheat or whole grain taste which is only noticable when you get to the end with no toppings which I expected and it's not going to crisp up as much as a crispy pizza can but I'm 100% satisfied and will order again. I can't stand soggy pizza and have zero issues with the texture. I never eat pizza pizza but this will be a regular weekly order for me now and make 3 lunches or 2 dinners.

I used to make fathead pizza once a week which is a keto pizza but won't anymore.

It's possible the funky smell was from the Italian Sausage. I don't normally order sausage on a pizza, or from Pizza Pizza in general. Either way, when I ate a slice cold the next morning, there was no funk.

The crust sagged immediately after picking up a slice, much more than a wheat crust. And the toppings slid off quite easily.

Also surprised you found a whole wheat or whole grain flavour, as the primary ingredient in the manufacturers store-sold version is almond flour. Presumably there's a custom (and cheaper) formulation for pizza pizza, but I'm guessing almond flour is still the primary ingredient.

Thanks Trane for mentioning that the crust is made with almond flour. I have a son who is allergic to tree nuts and I don’t think he can eat pizza there anymore because fear of cross contamination.

Maybe your pizza was undercooked? I would try it again because I had none of the issues you had. The toppings stayed on my pizza just fine. I call it a whole wheat or whole grain taste because that's the closest I can make a comparison to. if you have ever had the Mr. sub keto bun it tastes identical when you get to the end with no toppings but any part covered by toppings tastes no different than a regular pizza crust.

I belong to several keto groups and several who has tried it have raved about it.

Tried it a couple of days ago and had to throw half in the garbage. Its was soggy and didn't taste very good. Maybe it was undercooked, I will try again at a different location.

I usually get the keto crust at Blaze pizza, I like that one. Its a bit more expensive but I think its bigger plus you can add any toppings for the same price.

It looks like it's made mainly from coconut flour.

I wonder if it needs different cooking times/temperatures from the normal crusts and the local pizza pizzas haven't adjusted? I'm hoping to like this because I miss pizza Disappointed But Relieved Face

It's possible it was under cooked, but I always ask for my pies well done so who knows. Also, I'm pretty sure the crust is par-baked and the cooking at the pizza place is to warm it up and cook the toppings (I'm assuming, given how all home made keto crusts are prepared). I will probably try it again, either the pesto version or a custom order (feta, spinach, tomato).

To be fair, keto groups are easy to please in this regard, because any product that is borderline edible yet approximates the carb-tastic foods they miss is well loved. Plus its time-saving and a lot easier than preparing your own keto-crust at home.

I might have to give this a try. I've been making pizza crust with shredded chicken for a while, which I really like, but always good to try something new.

I hate pizza pizza as much as the next guy, but when the craving for pizza kicks in, this could be the difference between falling off the wagon or keeping to the diet. For many, a meal like this can keep them on their diet long term, rather than constantly falling off, because they can satisfy their cravings.
