Plastic or Metal Structured Media Boxes - in wall

Hi all,

I’ve got to install a structured media enclosure above my fireplace for a Frame TV. The enclosure needs to house the special box the Frame TV comes with. The box will be recessed into the wall.

My question is should I use a metal or plastic media enclosure. Is one more secure/safe than another?

Here are my options that I’m looking at:

Metal: https://www.leviton.com/en/products/47605-140

Plastic: https://www.legrand.ca/audio-visual/rac ... ?locale=en

I'd go with plastic for WIFI transparency in case you want to put any other devices back there.

I'm not familiar with everything the Frame box does but wouldn't you need access to HDMI and other ports on the box? Would it make more sense to run that box outside of the wall to a cabinet in the room?
