PlayStation 4 Console Deals

Just in the market for a cheap ps4 console. Just putting this here in case anyone finds anything. With the ps5 out, I'd expect some decent deals for a cheap ps4.

I traded my PS4 Pro into EB towards my PS5 for $282 with taxes so I'm guessing there will be 'deals' out there with low trade prices like these.

Yeah, I'd like to buy new. Never know with used ps4's. Also in my area people are still asking close to new prices.

Last year ps4's we're $199 on BF so I would only buy used for $100-150 for the slim.

I would just buy a used one! Especially if you need controllers as well. For $200 - $250 you can probably get a PS4 + Controllers + Games

In this thread just to see what the general consensus is for fair pricing on a PS4. I'm looking to get rid of my PS4, so if I can get $200 out of my entire bundle (2 controllers and a few games) I'll be happy.

If you want a PS5, best to trade it in through EB, they're offering decent deals on trade ins right now (for PS4).

I dont want a PS5 or any console at all. Selling it because I have decided to stop playing all video games. But do you think I can get more money overall if I do the trade-in and resell the PS5 once its back in stock?

That's assuming they get stock any time soon. Another way to get your money from EB once you trade your console in is to ask them to cash the trade in amount in gift cards or a vanilla credit card. But there they might charge you a small fee.
c'mon get happy!

Awesome thank you. Would this gift card be for other stores like Walmart/Amazon? Those i would have a use for, but if its an EB Games gift card its useless to me

Last time I went in they had a variety but I can't remember tbh. Most of the ones I remember were video-game related like PSN, Xbox, Robux, but they might have had BestBuy also? In any case they definitely have vanilla credit cards which would work at Walmart or Amazon.
c'mon get happy!

With 13% tax and higher supply at later date, the probability you sell over 20% over retail price is slim.

Just picked up someone's "quick sale" PS4 bundle on Kijiji. Nearly new TCL 32" smart TV with a 1TB PS4, 5 games, two controllers, and headset. $240

Bit of a risk but everything checked out after I went through it, disinfected, and set it all up. The TV was pretty much free. Pretty much ran out the door and made a bee-line for it.

That was quite a nice deal! In Oshawa Kijiji I see people are quoting 250-300 just for console and controllers.

Yeah in Regina people are asking 275-350 for their basic systems with a few old games. It's crazy I'd say.

Yeah that's typically what I see as well. People asking what you can get a new one for. It really should be $200 tops for console and controller or two, but maybe price correction needs to happen still as more transition to next gen.

My buddy isn't working right now, and has all the time in the world to look for deals. I'm busy working full time, so he sends me stuff he finds and either snags it or I go get it if I'm off work. If I buy something and can turn a profit I'll cut him a piece of the deal for finder fee. lol

Get a prepaid Visa card, it'll cost you a $5 fee. You won't make money reselling the PS5, the scalpers trying to get $1000 for them are a-holes, no way they are gonna get that kind of money with the amounts of new stock coming in, it's not like the old days now with the internet.

People selling PS4 on facebook/craigslist/etc may ask way too much for them, you can always send them an offer. Also call around to pawn shops too. Here the pawn shops sell stuff for a decent deal, I saw an XB1X the other day for $350, and that's guaranteed to work. People still trying to get $450 for them online, lol.

The fact that Sony is still selling the PS4 for $380 and the pro for $500 is nuts.

Yeah was expecting them to blow them out at $150 or something given they were selling them for $200-250 last BF, maybe there aren't any left overs after covid ?
