PlayStation 4 sales reach 110.4 million

To be fair they did get some of us to buy it a 2nd time by putting out the Pro model.

I would say Sony won this round because of the games they make. Their in house AAA titles might be few and far between, but MS doesn't have anything like them, so that's still more than MS.

That's amazing, but I'm still not sure it will catch the PS2. What is really interesting is looking at the numbers of top console sellers, the PS3 surpassed the Xbox 360 by a few million. Just goes to show you that the 'failure' some have branded it as is just hyperbole. It started slow and with the right changes, sold more. That gives the Xbox One some hope, right? Right?

Pretty impressive sales numbers.
The Nintendo Switch is outpacing the PS4 and the Switch is forecast to sell over 100 million units in 5 years.
The PS4 took 6.5 years to get to 110 million units sold.


Animal Crossing New Horizons is the Worldwide best selling game of 2020 with over 13.7 million units sold in only 1 month and 10 days of sales tracking;
this is a new record selling pace for Nintendo.
ACNH has outsold Call of Duty Modern Warfare (Multiplatform PS4, XB1 & PC) in 2020 year-to-date.
