I don't know, $53 for a 3 year old game, doesn't sound like a hot deal to me.....

Agreed, it has gone on sale (hard copy) for $39.99 before... Although, the PS4 release is more recent, with some extra features, and still plays well...

Just checked, March 2016, it was $39.99 on Amazon, but also at the time, BB had the same price.

The physical copy has dropped to the $30 mark this year (last gen consoles), so I'm inclined to agree with CFRTim on this one. A good price compared to what they're usually asking for it, but not the hottest deal we've seen recently.

Sorry, I edited to clarify almost immediately. It hit $30 at Best Buy for the 360/PS3 on one of their clearance sales. Sold out pretty quickly, but did set the new best sale price.

Not a bad price if you gameshare. The single player is well worth the regular price and the online world is so well done to play with a group of friends.

And if you gameshare and Sony finds out, bye bye your entire account. :D

Fun fact, game share is meant to share amongst family members, within the same home. Not with like all ten of your bros so only one person has to buy a new game and you all get access to it.

Weak sale. Save your money. Flash sale starts tomorrow, and Golden Week sale is on Tuesday.

How can you share with more than 1 person? We buy 1 game and both of us can both play. I can't imagine sharing with someone outside of your house.. you can't play if your Internet goes down.

If Sony ever comes to me and tells me my spouse can't play a game I bought digitally, thats the day I finally break an expensive time wasting addiction.

plays identical to the PS2 version, but with 1080p. Also has some songs removed due to expired licenses. Still 10/10.

are these monthly "GTA sales" becoming boring to anyone else?
My last and final digital game I purchased at PSN from those Sony Devils was on November 22, 2020 - Ban that Sorny!

I don't know why Rockstar doesn't lower the PS4 version already - the Online is a cash cow so you'd think they'd want to get as many people playing as possible.

Oh man I never played GTA 3 or Vice City, but loved San Andreas.

Might just get that for the nostalgia.

In my opinion, it's about greed. They think because their game is sooooooooo good, people will just outright buy it so why lower the price. I also find it annoying that every time it's in a sale the base version always gets a lower discount than the version with cash cards.

35% off of a game that came out November 18. 2014 is absolutely ridiculous. It should be at least 50% off by now.
