Please recommend site for online flowers/gift baskets

Hello fellow RFDers.
Not sure where would be the appropriate place to ask, so please mods move if there is a more specific forum for this.
A good friend of mine is recovering from some fairly exhaustive cancer surgery and has been through alot.
Me and some good mutual friends want to order flowers and a gift basket. Any good recommended sites that serve the GTA?

Thank you in advance.

For flowers, Google any local florist with good reviews and avoid most online flower websites. You'll get WAY better flowers and service from a local florist. Most online flower sites (ftd, 1800 flowers, etc.) are just middle men and take a large percentage and then get a local florist to fulfill the order for less money.

And for Gift Baskets, I know there’s one Co in the GTA that pretty much started it all decades ago ... Baskits

Just be prepared for sticker shock!

These Cos are expensive. And so they are mostly used by Corporations. HUGE mark ups on goods + Delivery

Individuals tend to go the DIY route, and use a Courier to deliver the gift(s)

We’ve personally also used a Gift Wrapping & Delivery Service in other major cities ... where we order the Gift item(s) online (From any online retailer that offers In Store Pick Up) ... the service does the pick up, wrap & delivery. Those services charge by the job (somewhat negotiable) or by the hour (ie $ 25 / hour tends to be the norm). This is our go to now for special occasion gifting in cities across Canada ... like Weddings, Babies / New Parents, Birthdays & Anniversaries. Often far cheaper than DIY + Shipping. And breakable goods ... never arrive broken. Plus you can do all sorts of goods this way, including booze.
