Plug E-bike from London Drugs

For those that bought the Plug e-bike from London Drugs, what is your experience with it? I have not ridden mine yet, but one of the tires was blown out from being overinflated when I inflated it to 50 psi even though it recommends a psi of 40-65. I'm thinking if I should bother going through the manufacturer for a warranty or just return it.
