Plumbing Help - Connecting New Drain & P Trap

Hi Everyone,

We just got some renos done and now the drain and p trap don’t connect to the outflow pipe. Also the pipe looks a bit rusted with a hole in it. Can anyone help with step by step instructions and parts to use to get this fixed?

Cut off or unsolder the copper 45 at the wall and replace with these.

Don't forget to buy some pipe and glue.

What pootza said.

Throw that chromed piece in the garbage. Use an adjustable P trap along with the parts previously listed.
If you don't know what you are doing, show the picture to an Orange Apron, and hopefully you'll get what you need.
Or just hire a plumber.

Thanks everyone. I called a plumber after all. Don’t want to do a hack job. Mods you can delete / close the thread.
