it looks like everything on sale with logitech. would that be a sign that they are coming up with a new model or something?

Gizmodo seems to like it:

http://gizmodo.com/5040312/logitech-mx- ... mouse-ever

"a combination of the MX1000 (which we've used for years) and the slightly newer MX Revolution. "

CNET Gives it 4/5

http://reviews.cnet.com/mice/logitech-m ... 04649.html

"The bottom line: Logitech's MX 1100 wireless laser mouse is the best in its class thanks to a wide array of features that make navigation easier. You have to pay for all of that capability, but anyone who puts serious time in front of a PC will appreciate what this mouse can do."

It's a nice deal! I have this model at the office and I like it. At home I have the MX revolution but I definitively prefer the comfort of the MX1100!

However, the MX revolution comes with a changing dock while you must put AA bateries and charge them on yourself on the 1100.

wow, that's a great price.
This mouse is a better mouse then the MX Revolution, especially if you're a gamer.

The problem with the MX Revolution, is that MOUSE3 is missing. The middle click on the Revolution is used to toggle the free spin, to ratcheted spin on the mouse wheel.

That free spin toggle on the MX 1100 is that small button you see behind the mouse wheel, making the middle click MOUSE3 button back when you click the mouse wheel itself, like it should be.
