PoE adapter for Ring Camera's

I'm getting 4 Ring Stick Up Cam Elite with PoE Adapter. Link to camera's

I read somewhere that you have to have a Power over Ethernet Adapter in order to make the Ring camera's work. I would like one with the capability of more than 4 ports to power the camera's.

Ring offers one https://ring.com/collections/accessorie ... oe-adapter but it is only for 1 device.

Just looking for any recommendations on a good PoE Adapter?

Thanks

Or can you just plug the camera's directly into a router?

What you're looking for is a network switch with POE ports. You can get ones with 4 ports all the way up to 48 ports. They're a little more expensive than regular switches but nothing major.

You can get a Poe Adapter but you will have 4 different adapters and power adapters for them it will be a little bit of a mess. A regular router will not provide PoE, most do not so unless you have some high end special one i doubt it.

What you want is a PoE switch like this - https://www.amazon.ca/TRENDnet-Ethernet ... 242&sr=8-7
