[Walmart] Pokemon Moon and Sun Walmart $49.95

http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/pokemon-moo ... 0196158611

http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/pokemon-sun ... 0196158601

Pokemon Sun and Moon are both at 49.99 at Walmart.ca

Amazon has them back at 59.99 /w 20% off. Which is $47. Still a decent deal if you want it.

So the best bet would be if Amazon price matches Walmart. If everyone suggests the online price to Amazon, they should match it. 49 + 20% off would be awesome!

Go to amazon page for game: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Scroll down to 'tell us about a lower price' under product details, enter the url in op and price.

I pre-ordered on Amazon under the assumption that the game isn't really $60 and that it would get fixed. Are they really trying to sell a 3DS game for $60?

Well, 3DS games used to be $40. PS3/XBox 360 games used to be $60. Now that the prices have increased, $60 games are $80, so wouldn't it make sense if 3DS games also increased the same amount too? lol.

I hope so too. Just hope they switch it now so we have the peace of mind right away.

Yeah it would make sense.. sucks since Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire were only 44.99 right? Anyways, I miss pre-ordering 3DS games for $28 each lol (39.99 - 30%). Could buy pretty much every 3DS game at launch. Now I'm pretty stingey with what I buy considering I have like 3 platforms. Would've bought both Fire Emblem games without hesitation back then (Birthright and Conquest)

60 -> 80 = 33% increase
40 -> 60 = 50% increase

So... No? Unless you're fine with 3DS game prices going up at a pretty disproportional rate... I said it before, but pretty much the only games I seen go this high were Atlus games, but those go on sale pretty often. Can't say the same for Nintendo's own games.

Usually they would be priced 44.99 or 49.99 at most. 59.99 is absurd.

My last and final digital game I purchased at PSN from those Sony Devils was on November 22, 2020 - Ban that Sorny!

Agreed but people keep on buying them anyways. My kid LOVES Pokémon and will pay whatever the sticker price is. I think there are a lot more people like him than there are like us saying it's absurd.

Still, I wish we weren't getting slapped with all these increases. It's making these deals a lot more unbearable.

Pokémon is still a craze? I was into it a lot like 7 or so years ago I think.

Meh, they're still well constructed games. It's not shocking to me that some of the older crowd still enjoy it. Some of the best RPGs you'll find.

Ya I was more making fun of the fact that he seems to think Pokemon is a fad from 7 years ago than a comment on the quality of the games(which I kinda feel has slipped but maybe that's just me getting older).
