popeyes supplement and gnc

Im surprised these 2 companies are still in business, considering online supplement sites are selling for half the price. Will they go out like ecko, mexx and others? Time will tell.

Popeye's price-matches with supplementscanada.com (Popeye's parent company) which is why it has 'staying power'

GNC is typically frequented by older folks and newbies that keep it in business...

Cleary you havent been to supplementsource.ca or supplementgateway. They are both candian and popeyes does not price match those guys cause they sell for 30 to 40 percent less than popeyes

Half the price?

When GNC has a deal nobody can touch them. Their regular prices suck but show me where I can get 4 boxes of Quest bars for $15 which I have in the past with B3G1 (which is on almost every other week) + coupon? Save $10 on $20 coupon? 5lbs Optimum Gold for $45.xx?

They have the buying power to offer deals...and they have the leases on real estate to please the average shopper who doesn't know any better. They're not going anywhere anytime soon.

Just comparing the Allmax products between Supplementsource.ca & supplementscanada.com = the price difference is literally 5 cents. If Popeye's (at least the Markham store that I know of) matches supplementscanada.com - that means that the difference would only be 5 cents to purchase from Popeye's vs Supplementsource.ca...

Same argument can be had for any store and business out there. There will always be people who prefer to go into a physical store....for now. Until the older generation becomes obsolete.
