Popeyes traffic jam in Halifax hilarious viral video from Breakfast Television

Dina and Sid react to a hilarious video of a Halifax woman stuck in traffic caused by a very long lineup for a Popeyes.

Last time I had some east coast fam visit... I treated them to Popeyes chicken. They had SUCH a good time. Seriously. Same reaction/happiness as a high class restaurant or higher tier AYCE... lol

The kids took a bunch of pics to show off to their friends back east. lol

You have Mary Browns in Halifax which is by far better quality than Popeyes.

What’s more impressive is at least they didn’t block traffic in the round a bout to some extent.

Popeyes is garbage. You telling me nobody can fry chicken better than Popeyes or Mary browns in Halifax?

I guess it’s a new brand.

Also not racist enough to compete With the original Popeyes viral video

I went to pick something up at a residence near this end of Halifax a few days ago, and people were STILL lined up for Popeyes! The lineup was out the parking lot and up the road - not quite to the rotary, but not far! And this was about a month after opening. Sheesh.

Ann hasn’t been on the show in at least 20 years. Kevin “retired” a couple of years ago. Rogers unloading all their high-priced talent, what else is new.

Didnt they just want younger people in an attempt to be cooler?

Kinda like how they got rid of Harry the trini weather man and replaced it with a hot woman.

Yes, that is definitely true. And they don’t have to pay the younger ones as much. Win-win for Rogers!

But is the younger crowd actually interested in watching BT anymore on traditonal media?

Ugh, she's so annoying, way too perky and chatty. She also dresses like she's going to Studio 54, circa the 80's.

It just amazes me the number of people who STILL don't understand that City TV and CP 24 are not at all the same company anymore, and have not been for years.
When Chum group was around, City TV and CP 24 were one the same, but Chum group sold to Bell media. Rogers got City TV while Bell kept CP 24.
Two different companies since 2007 (at least)
City TV's BT = Rogers owned. CP 24 = Bell owned, which also = CTV Toronto news on CP 24, NOT CityNews.

Long story short: CP 24 and City TV have nothing to do with each other, even though they once did.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
