Porsche is having a Taycan Test Drive Experience event over several days at a couple different locations. No, there are no extra 'freebies' for doing this and yes, you can just go to a dealership but I am supposing doing the test drive this way is not going to have the sales pressure that goes along with that. Too out of the way for me but for those interested...

I love how the registration page says "Register for the EXCLUSIVE..."

he's a pretty chill guy. i've met him a few times at various events (car shows, product launches, etc). gotta respect the hustle, he gets some decent trips and stuff as an influencer

By yourself the whole time in car. Brief talk before drive for the group.

Then 3 laps of a closed circuit in a parking lot. Got get a few curves then a straight to floor it and slam brakes. This was the most fun for me. I could smell my tires after .

After that a lead car takes your group for a short drive on streets around the mall.

The whole time they use radios to stay in touch with drivers.

The car is an all-electric absolute beast . Performance took my breath away.

After they gave us all Porsche keychains.

I'm so spoiled by the aftermarket 12" digital rearview mirror in our car. The rearview mirror in the Porsche is tiny and doesn't offer a great view of people you leave in your dust.

Q - Can you bring a passenger along?

A - Yup

Had a blast at the Don Mills location.

The location was by Metro. The route was from Don Mills to Eglinton. Eglinton to Leslie. Leslie to Lawrence and back to the mall. Got a free Porsche hat.

Were there any blocked off areas where you get to test the speed or do you have to follow the speed limit?
