porting to another carrier to get winback deals...

Do most of you port to a prepaid plan? or just a BYOD no contract plan?

Lets say I get a BYOD plan $40 from freedom and use only 1 day and then I port out to telus, do I get charged the $40 or just the price for that 1 day of usage?

Technically, you should be charge for the days your service is active. So if you Port from Telus to Freedom, then Telus offers you a Winback offer 21 days later, well you have to pay 21 days to Freedom Mobile…

Thank you, so BYOD plan it is. I have a telus business plan already lined up on the table, but if i port in from freedom I get $200 credit.

Don't forget you're paying activation fees when shifting around per transfer.
