Portugal - Train Ride Alfa Pendular and bagage

Anyone here travelled to Portugal and took the Alfa pendular train?

I am going there this summer and will need to take the train, but I was wondering how it works for a regular luggage case?
Does it have compartements for them, does it cost extra?

Is that the high speed train ? We took it from Lisbon to Porto, in 2019, but we travelled with backpacks only and I don’t remember how luggage was stored. Sorry I can’t help you more.

there is no extra cost for luggage. There is some info on the Man in Seat 61 site if you scroll down.

It looks like the luggage racks are near the doors on this one.

That website is fantastic for train travel. We used it a lot when we went to Europe for a month,

Went in 2019. Took it from Porto to Lisbon. HerbieC is correct, there are luggage racks. Also overhead racks. We paid for "Business Class" since the cost isn't that big, and there was a lot of space.
