Possible to remove that roller?

Need this item - https://www.homedepot.ca/product/hdx-43 ... 1001018659
But need to remove that roller from top as looking to customize so i can use it for different purpose.
I tried pressing that bolt inside which goes in to some extent but not to level where I can remove that roller.
Any idea/thoughts how to remove it?

thanks in advance

Just use a hack saw to cut the bolt/shaft. Once cut, the roller will fall off.

If hammering it won't work, go for the hacksaw.
If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Try press both end of shaft at same time. They gotta retract enough for the factory to install it.

Thx. Yes hammering worked and I've now removed the roller by hammering a strong nail on one end.

Attached. Using it as support for my landmine workout ;)
It's a cheap hack in place of actual stand which costs > $120
This one costs me $25
