Is it possible to ship a parcel to US with a return label to Canada?

I'm trying to send a monitor main board to US for repair. I need to include a return label, but I haven't found any solution so far, well, mainly because of my location. I've heard about Chitchat, but the closest town I can go to is London. I also contacted Stallion Express, but they don't provide a return label. They recommended Shippsy, but again, it's only available in Toronto. Any recommendation? Thanks in advance.

So you're trying to send to the U.S. for cheaper than the usual services, but also need a prepaid return label?

I don't know about cheap shipping services to the U.S. (from outside the GTA), but if you find one, but it doesn't offer a return label, you make an account on USPS or other U.S. courier, print the return label and include the prepaid, return label with the shipment to the U.S. So, for example, you could use Stallion to send it down there, and include a preprinted USPS label for them to send it back to you.

i believe u can make a label for a shipment from the us with netparcel netparcel-shipping-rates-45-60-off-2296241/ it will be a discounted ups label. just make sure u declare the item as a repair and not something u bought so u don't get conned by ups for import fees. if its being repaired under warranty for free make sure to put that down to.

I'm not mainly trying to find the cheaper services. Those two were recommend by other people. The main concern is to create a return label and send it with it.
About signing up to USPS in Canada, doesn't it require US address with US phone number? Last time, I tried to report a missing parcel I sent to Florida, it didn't let me finish up the report because I didn't have a us phone number. Can you give me some more information or link?

You might have to look around for a U.S. courier will take a Canadian credit card and andress, and aaron158 gave an example, but the point is that you don't have to use the same service to send and to return, because that really restricts your choices.

Thanks guys. I ended up asking the repair service ship it by themselves. The guy was pricing like USD 30 - 35 which I think it's too much for a box19"x 13" x 3" and less than 2lb weight. He also mentioned that adding insurance on it.
What kind of shipping option in USPS should I ask him to use? I don't really think it's necessary to add insurance.

i would suggest usps first class its the cheapest and has full tracking but has no loss or damage insurance. but has the least chance of getting hit with import fees though if they declare it wrong.

If you have a proper UPS account, this is possible (since you're basically running as a business). You'd create an outbound label and ask for return service to be included (where a return label is generated along with the original shipment). You can also use UPS Import Control to generate a prepaid return label.

Duty / fees gets a little dicey, none should apply since it's a return, but YMMV on UPS actually getting that part right.

This is what I'd do and have done so in the past, but with eShipper. Same concept.
Although if time isn't an issue, it may be actually cheaper to ship to a reshipper and have them ship it domestically again.
Domestic labels are cheap. International labels are expensive.

Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.

The problem is, well, it's actually my own problem, reshippers are mainly located in Toronto. Does eShipper offer services in London?

eShipper isn't a reshipper. It's a "pay them for a cheap label".

For reshipping, I mean actually reshipping. I don't know the ones in Ontario, but there's companies that will receive a package in the US, bring it to Canada, then ship it back out domestically.
They're the ones handling international transit which is expensive.

So in my scenario, you'd pay eshipper for a label there, a return label to a reshipping service, then pay the reshipping service to ship it to you (some may also accept prepaid labels)

Is there a minimum value for charging the import fees? Also do they charge import fees on repair services? For instant, the monitor main board is valued at $300, but the repair service cost $150. How to declare in this situation?

for shipping down to the usa its $800 usd. for shipping from the us back to canada its way worst $20 though the post office $40 though other shipping services with the post office though its random sometimes they let it slide other times not. i believe since u sent it for repair u don't declare the boards value since u didn't buy the board u would just be required to declare the value of the repair

Thanks. I guess then it would "merchandise" with a value of $150. Can you guess how much the import charge would be in that case?

no just mark it as repair vs merchandise since u didn't buy it off the person. since ur in Ontario if its shipped via usps if it does get hit ud be looking at 13% of the 150 plus the 9.95 handling fee. fedex or ups ground would be the same 13% plus all the lame fees they like the tack on if u go express some of those fees are less.

if its under 4 pounds usps first class would be the best bet with the least chance of getting hit but the more it goes over 100 bucks i find the bigger the chance they tag it.
