Possible to transfer plans and keep the phone numbers?

I'm currently on Rogers and I also have a Koodo account for my mom. Koodo is offering the extra data for $9 or $13. While my mom doesn't use much data, I could make use of the extra GB. Is there a way of swapping numbers and keeping both plans? If I port out a number, would it cancel the plan or account?

In one word, no. Carriers don't do that kind of stuff although it is possible to do it. My suggestion is to call in and ask if they can move the deal from one line to the other.

Called Triangle Swap

Both Koodo and TELUS have done this for me in the past

Did you manage to swap plans/numbers?

I have two Koodo numbers/plans and need to swap the numbers while keeping the plans since one of the plans is no longer offered.

Current
Number 1 - grandfathered plan A with small Tab
Number 2 - plan B with medium Tab

Future
Number 1 - plan B with medium Tab
Number 2 - grandfathered plan A with small Tab
