Thanks for the DPs! If you are familiar with browser developer tools, could you extract the MCC from TD Easyweb* and share that as well? If we know the MCC, I can probably say for most banks if they will code as CA or purchase.

* Edit: I posted a how-to in a dedicated thread: extracting-merchant-category-codes-onli ... g-2380800/

6012 is indeed cash advance with TD, MBNA (and based on DPs probably Rogers).
Should code as purchase on RBC, Scotia, HSBC, BMO.
Tangerine should also code it as purchase but declines above $200 IIRC.

From what I read, is this the right play?

1. Reload online using Visa/MC for $4.95 per $1,000 (PayPower Plus)
2. Liquidate by using it to pay credit card bills for $1.95 per bill (TD Visa, CIBC Visa, BMO Mastercard, etc.)?
3. Repeat within the given limits
so you ordered new PP card from PP website? is it black card?

Hi everybody.
I wanted to know (because I know how in USA), can you link one of the cards mentioned in the first post on PayPal, then send your PayPal balance to that card and withdraw at an ATM ?
Thank you.

Does loading in store still count as cash advance for TD/MBNA, or just online loading? Haven't tried loaded using one of those cards yet.

Loading in a store codes as any other purchase in that store. The cash advance DP was about loading online.

Anyone have any luck in loading PP in Ottawa? All the locations I've tried seem to not do it anymore :/

anyone uses MyVanilla prepaid MasterCard (re loadable ones) here? I usually use it to deposit onto online casino sites, it stopped working today? Was working before many times.
Did something change? any ideas?

Sounds like your card got shutdown. Login online and see... if you can't login you've been shutdown.

My understanding is MV recently made a coding change. Reports of users having issues loading MV with other platforms as well.
