Actually, no gift there: it's the regular $100 for opening a new credit card and the regular $50 for opening a PC Money account.

Its funny when I was a new PC Optimum customer I got a ton of good offers. Now I've been using the app every week the offers get worse and worse.

I've been noticing that if I use a lot of offers in a given week, the next week's offers are terrible. If I don't use any, or only one or two, for a couple weeks in a row, then I start seeing good offers again.

Yes, requires an app update to see what OP sees.

Before updating I saw the offers just listed as normal offers with a short expiry, so they were still there. After updating, I see the Holiday Calendar.

I have a friend who got a PC Money account. After one month he was suddenly locked out. When I say 'locked out' I mean he had no access to his money. Customer service told him they could not reverse it and could not even tell him why he was locked out. They said they would need 10 business days to sort it out. Despite several calls, there was never a supervisor available.

Eventually they told him it was an IT issue and he would need to wait for a new card to be mailed. He had no access to his money for nearly a month! Months have passed and he still has not received his optimum points for sign up.

It took nearly 5 months and 7 e-mails for me to receive my optimum points for PC Financial credit card sign-up. Half the time their app doesn't work. I would not recommend the money account or the credit card. They don't have their act together.

No luck here in iOS. I don't see it anywhere on the offer page. Updated to the latest one this morning.

Is Shoppers' "20x faster" the best offer other than the "redemption day" events?

The best IMO is redeem X amount of points and get 40% back in points.
It's a rare personal offer: maybe a few times per year.
20 X the points (30%) is a good one.

loblaws.ca. Pick your store. Search for "PC batteries". Figure out how many batteries you gotta buy to hit $15. Good luck.

The best is to use both - buy something when you get a 20x offer (most weeks) and then save the points for Mega Redemption type offers.
