Cold brew has a different flavor than hot brew.
I can't argue that.
Also for convenience.... someone like me who doesn't own any coffee brewing products.
In terms of cold brew, don't you need basically coffee filters, a strainer, and a large container?
I can't argue the convenience (which goes for like 90% of beverage products) but for stuff I can easily produce at home (eg this, lemonade, iced tea, etc) I'd never buy pre made.
Stuff like "Orange Juice" I do because it's a pain squeezing a case of oranges. It's a terrible product compared to fresh squeezed but will fix a craving sometimes.
Lemonade I leave out because it's not any work to even make to order. Squeeze a lemon, add simple syrup, add water, stir.

If I want iced coffee and don't want to make it myself, it's cheaper and more convenient to just get it from McDonald's. $3.99 for 900ml is expensive.

Agreed. Only a dollar all summer, but I think that's only a small for that.
Plus also, 7 11 has their version of iced coffee as well. Good stuff!!

7-11's iced coffee is terrible...literally the worst I've ever had. With 140 calories in a small, that stuff has so much cream and sugar in it that you can't even taste the coffee. At least at McDonald's I can customize it by getting very little cream and sugar, or getting it black.

Seems like people are mixing up cold brew and iced coffee.

Iced coffee is regular hot brewed coffee with ice added in.

Cold brew is letting the coffee grinds steep in cold water for 12+ hours. Ice is not required, but I notice some places add it in. The flavor is less acidic and smoother. Due to the longer process and the need for additional storage, the price tends to be much higher.

It's fixed flavour, with only two choices. Vanilla or Mocha. (sometimes one is replaced with caramel)
I happen to like the flavours.
You are correct that the coffee is not asjustable...if there's even any real coffee in there at all!!
I suspect that 7 11 iced coffee is all flavouring. (I have not checked an ingredient list)

I wonder if a real iced coffee black would sell at 7 11??

I'd buy that for sure since it would give me the ability to add my own cream/sugar. Right now I don't see the point since I drink coffee to taste coffee.

I'm no expert, but I don't think anyone is going to buy cold regular coffee.
Cold brew coffee is unique in its own regard which has a market.

Now... I would buy it, as long as I had access to liquid sugar. Their iced coffee in the machine is hideous.
@LNahid2000 would too apparently.
Maybe I'm wrong.

Has anyone seen PC Vanilla Paste in Vancouver?
I had to buy some from Whole Foods for $25.

Also I could swear that they had PC Frozen Avocado and Coconut (2 separate things)
I saw it in the flyer once and I haven't actually ever seen the product.
Am I crazy or has anyone else seen it?

Yup both are widely available, part of the smoothy craze. Now also frozen chopped "greens" to throw into the mix.

Seems to have gone out of stock. I looked today, none. I think the last place I saw them might have been a YIG.
