There are a couple couple channels on the list I'd watch for specific shows but not enough to justify paying for it, i'll save the $$ and stick to OTA that has a far more content that i watch.

Easily can wait for Netflix to get it or just pay a month of Crave and binge it.

Well, Hollywood Suite is pretty good at $4.99. I enjoyed those 4 channels quite a bit on Rogers TV when I had it. With all the options available today, it's nice to be passive to a tv channel's current offerings and discover a classic piece of gold you might not have ever known about.

Amazon needs to hurry up and make their video services compatible with Chromecast. I read an article that it's coming, but no eta.

Switched over to Telus a few weeks ago and testing out the 3 month free PikTV app. Haven't had cable in years so it's interesting to watch commercials every now and again.

Threw it on my phone and Apple TV however prefer it on my Shield so found a copy that sideloads really well from here. Also threw it on my Amazon fire TV. It plays quite nice on everything.

If you have Telus, I believe the first month is free and it's $5.99 for basic and any 5 specialty channels after which makes it a better deal than Amazon above. You can also switch your 5 specialty channels anytime after the first month so gives you options. Haven't decided if I'll keep it yet but just throwing it out there as another option for other cord cutters.

Make it a bit cheaper, add TSN and sportsnet and news channels, and then I'm in..
I dont see them doing that anytime soon. Bell and Rogers would never allow it. They would lose 50% of their customer base in the span of 6 months. I for one would be all over it like a fat kid on a smartie

Another reason the pipes should never have been allowed to own the content...

Not a particular "hot" deal as it were, but anything to challenge the death grip of Rogers/Bell/Shaw/Etc. that is the Canadian telecom shit show I fully support and am glad to know exists. Go Amazon, free us all from the the old greedy paws of Canadian protected monopolies

So is this an actual cable TV or yet another streaming service?
