This has saved me (and helped others) so many times. No hassles, easy to use, and never have to depend on anyone else. A staple for any car in my opinion. Might buy a couple as gifts. Thanks OP.

How long do these hold a charge? I am interested in getting one for emergencies but don't think I will remember to keep these charged...

I’ve definitely used it after 5-6 months on one charge, but I try to bring it inside after 2-3 months to make sure it’s charged. You can get 7-10(?) boosts on one battery, so even if it drains a bit you should be ok in a pinch. It’s really great to have for the price, even if you have CAA, you can wait up to an hour for a boost.

Yup, I've used mine 2-3 times (mostly helping others). I've probably sold one or two of those people on them in the process, haha. They never knew anything like this existed.

Sorry for digging up this old post, and you've likely already made your decision, but thought I would share my experience.

I had bought this PrimeCables jump start charger back in Dec 2019, and it has been sitting in the glove box over 2 winters (don't think I charged it after the initial post-purchase charge). This morning I came across a stranded shopper (in a Civic) in the parking lot with a dead battery. Hooked it up, and amazingly it worked! Very glad I bought this when it was on sale, and hopefully it will continue to work when I do need it.
