[Primecables.ca] 4-Port Smart Charging 34W 6.8A USB Wall Charger - $7.99 Free Shipping

PrimeCables has this 4 port charger for $7.99 and free shipping for today's deal. 34W total output. 6.8Amps (2.4+2.4+1.0+1.0).

Before someone complains it does not have QC2.0/3.0 or PD charging, but is still a great charger for other devices. Remember USB charging is not just for cell phones as some electronics can be powered via USB and usually is only 5W/1A (Google Home mini, Echo dot 2, Firestick, etc).

10X S-Points which is equivalent to at least 20% for those that collect points.

Also use code "PCback10" to get 10% off for return shoppers (YMMV as codes can't be used for sale items but if you get on before they correct it will work as it did for my order).

Good price. Ports at the bottom, kinda weird placement

Google Home mini needs 1.8A, so the 1A port won't work even for it.

Or, you can flip it and now the ports are on top.

If only the prongs were placed on a different side.
Then you can just install it flat against the wall instead of sticking out so much.
Unless it's meant for power bars in that case it's going to take up like 4 outlet spaces.
Deal breaker for me.

It looks like it was made for power bars and will only take up one outlet, not four, because of the way the plug is.

I do not recommend using this charger with older phone like Google Nexus 5 - heck I don't recommend it at all. My Nexus 5 phone battery exploded using this charger (using the 1.0 amp port).

Looks good and was going to get 2 but that blue light that people are complaining about can suck. Good post though.

It was December 2018. I used my Nexus 5 as a bedside clock with the stock charger for years. Then last December when I needed another port for my Google Home Mini. I decided to swap out the stock charger with this 4-port USB charger, around 30 minutes in, my Nexus 5 exploded. The Google Home Mini was fine though.

No fire, just a minor explosion and the acid smell from the battery was overwhelming, so I quickly unplugged, bagged it and trashed the phone in the outdoor trash bin. I didn't have a chance to take a photo, but it was something like this
