Just get one with dual hdmi. Less cables sticking out if your laptop

There's also the 10-in-1 model for sale, which has an rj-45 port and vga.
https://www.primecables.ca/p-398125-cab ... -usb-c-hub

That being said, for both models, neither supports [email protected], only [email protected] For those who have a 4k monitor, this may be a deal breaker.

Otherwise, good deal OP.

Edit: I believe a Thunderbolt dock is required for [email protected] without any latency/performance issues. Both the dock and the PC need to support Thunderbolt. These docks are typically way more expensive. As a workaround, I run my monitor at [email protected] on my work laptop that doesn't support Thunderbolt. Doesn't look great, but doesn't look terrible either.

New one is smaller form factor at the expense of only having one usb 3 port.

There is also this which I have coming today. I don't have any 4k monitor but have a friend who does and says no issue running both at 60hz. There is also similar version but with 2dp and HDMI for 10bucks more. This uses alt dp and DSC compression. I am planning to run 3x 1440p from this.

thx I've been waiting for this one to come on sale! I don't use these often enough to justify anything more than about $20 so this will do great when I need it.
