From VGA to USB to DVI/Display Port to HDMI and now USB-C.

I assume they can carry more and more data with better quality? What's the next one to come...

What kind of laptop do you have? Brand/model? I'm a Dell guy and HDMI and USB-C are the only ones on modern Dell laptops.

The laptop I mentioned is a 2019 Lenovo model. All 3 outputs are capable of 4K60 too.

For some reason I think the 2020/2021 similar Lenovo models don't have the MiniDP either now.
