Was it the same one as the one listed here? If it is, could you share the link? I've ordered one in the past from Ali and the quality wasn't as robust as the product on this listing appears to be.

it's worked well so far... holds up an iphone 12 pro max just fine

the previous one i bought from a different seller in April 2020 still works... the ring cracked but i put some rubber band around it to make it work

before that i had two i bought off the streets of hong kong

these things are generally pretty much the same in my experience... i search for what i want sort by most orders and look at the pictured reviews and just YOLO

there are some things that I may be convinced spending more money is better, but this isn't gonna be one of them.

I actually did have the exact same one and found that the area where the neck attaches to the clamp is way too weak with zero support. I was using OnePlus6 at the time so it wasn't even heavy. I'm the type of person who uses products for a long time and this one lasted only like a month before breaking in the clamp area. Maybe the one you sent is a bit shorter than the one I had and therefore more support?

Anyway I think I'll give the PrimeCables one a try, thanks OP!

that i think is the luck of the draw of the spring that you get. i'm still rocking my oneplus6 and it works well on my broken/repaired one as well as the new one.
but this primecables one seems like it's got perfect reviews and it claims a one year warranty so maybe it is worth it if the reviews and warranty turns out to be true... since there's no warranty with ali despite what the sellers claim.

Dollarama ones are crap. I bought one before and the clamp sucks and the goose neck is weak. Would not recommend it
