The only thing I can see is the more expensive arms come with a lifetime warranty and this one only comes with a 1 year warranty. From the reviews it looks like most people like it.

I have the dual monitor version of this mount and its absolutely fantastic for the price. Range of motion is excellent, and the tensioning works really well.
You do have to use an Alan key to adjust it, but once you get it in the perfect spot you can move the monitor around freely and never have to touch it again.

Setup is a bit complex and the instructions leave a lot to be desired, but you'll figure it out. I'm curious how these types of mounts compare to the long gas-arm style mounts like this one.

Also, it does say that 35" at 26LB but the arms kind of look too thin. Although the reviews seem positive.

The label in it is NB so it's Northern Bayou. I had one of their pneumatic piston mounts. It worked fine for a few years but the eventually lost its ability to stay erect.

As a tall person I do appreciate its 6-7" higher than my 2 other monitor mounts. Hmm....

If your desk is completely flush, you’ll need to use a grommet mount. I have this exact arm from PrimeCable (bought during Christmas time), the clamp system is not small (I imagine to support the high weight capacity). My table didn’t have enough lip on the back anyway, so I drilled a hole, and it’s worked well for me.

Don't know about all time low, but a recent sale price for the heavy-duty single arm mount was $68, so the current sale price of $72 isn't too far off. Regular price seems to have gone up a couple of dollars since Jan as well.

The metal bracket for the desk clamp extends beyond the desk by just under 0.5". If you use the plastic cable management clip on the back of desk clamp, that will push it to 1.25"
