You can open it up. one screw on the back, behind the warranty sticker. open it up and disconnect the connector that connected to the front board (connects to the leds and the light sensor and power on blue led) and that's it

Thanks, already did that but just cut the IR wires. Might totally disconnect to stop the blue LED reflection and possibly improve night recording with just ambient (street) light.
