Seems like a decent deal... upvoted mostly since whoever downvoted didn't explain why. Appreciate the post, OP!

I have these and use them. I use the software and app that it comes with. They also have a micro-sd slot for loop recording. They're decent and the night vision works well.

Doesn't seem to have a OpenIPC firmware hack, so I'll stick with Wyze.

Can these be used as baby monitors at all?

Can anybody tell me if these would be serviceable for surveillance in front of my home, say if they were setup in a window on the second floor.

The street that I'm on not far from the front face of the house - maybe 20 to 25 ft. Would this camera be able to capture a decent image of vehicles that drive by? What about during the night?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I wish I can give you a down vote. Not everyone would do whatever R#$%#@$% support or hack. Most people would just use it out of the box.

Find me a basic security camera with acceptable quality for less than $17.50 each, or you just....

bought 2 for $15 each 2 weeks ago, paired with phone easily ,but only viewable when camera and phone are in the same wifi. was told that was the router setting problem and was suggested to send back for refund. I still lazy to send back and there should be a solution for it.
Never again! HTC , Wind Mobile , Air China
