Thanks, OP. I ordered one for the kitchen tablet for recipes. The height will help keep it up out of the cooking mess. :)

Will it tip over? The weight of the tablet always seems to make these tip over easily.

A couple of the reviews do mention that issue.

"The Cell phone/ Iphad Stand is too light, so when you touch or put on it, it is easy to fall"

"Well built and works fine with smart phone but a little tippy with tablet. Which was the main purpose I had for it. It would need to have a larger, heavier base"

But it probably depends on the weight of your tablet, the tilt of the holder, etc.

This confirms my suspicion about this stand tipping over easily from its design. If it had a tilting stalk, then that will counter-balance the weight of a tablet. Otherwise, it's only good for viewing and not interactively using the tablet. The poking motion would essentially push it over depending on how hard you tap the screen. I'm sure it's constructed well from the pictures, as I have bought other PrimeCables branded stands which are usually solidly built (metal/aluminum).

Otherwise, a good price for this product if all you need is a stand to raise your device to a comfortable viewing level and angle.
Why settle for full retail price when you can wait and get it at a lower price for better value (even better if there's a bundled freebies deal)? 😉

if you collect S-points then the bonus $2 makes this only $8 which doesn't seem too bad...

More importantly though: I also just noticed that because this item has free shipping, you don't need to spend $49 to reach the free shipping threshold.

I added a few $3 items to take it up to $17 for the order and shipping was still free even though it was less than $49

Similar ones go on sale at aliexpress for $5-7 for those willing to wait 2+ months for shipping. Given the wait, this is a pretty good deal.

It depends on how thick the Android box is. Of course you could just tilt it at a lower angle then it shouldn’t be an issue. For Google hub, you are probably better off getting a laptop stand.

For reference, I paid $6.99 in September. It works well. Wish I bought more at the $7 price.
Nothing to see here
