Quick question, if I plug in a power bar in this that doesn't have surge protection, will it work like it has it?

The surge protection will occur on this one irrespective of what's connected to it.

Does anyone own this who can speak to whether it actually stays on the wall? I have a swivel one from PrimeCables (on for $10) which I like pinned behind a bed but which is not stable enough for a regular outlet, IMO.

I just read through the reviews one mentioned it feels stable without the center screw. I know what you mean about some types of these that seem to sag off the wall.

Interesting. I have the same one plugged to my kitchen wall for couple of months now and hasn't fell off yet.

Bought 2, Rakuten 2.5% + (3000 S-Points + 7000 S-Points = 10 Dollar discount on a future order).

Will replace similar but far more basic ones in my kitchen so that I can connect USB devices to them easily as well.

Thanks OP!

I wish we'd start seeing these wall adapters with 65W+ PD ports instead of the lower wattage ports for phones and tablets. Would love to be able to put a few near couches and just plug in and charge the laptop anywhere I may be sitting (I'm lazy).

Mine swiveling one definitely sags. But the design is a bit different on this one: the plug is on the top half, and the stabilizer is in the lower part. That seems more stable than the plug on the lower half (???) and the stabilizer in the middle. Gonna go for it

Same here.
Buying their 24HR daily Deals. Have to stop clicking on the PrimeCable threads.
At least I'm using my purchases. And not sitting there collecting dust
