i saw this at PA today in scarborough. I rather have a usb rechargeable one with the same lumens for portability any ideas? I don't like having cords dangling around and in the way. This product seems to be decent quality .

I picked one up, decently happy with it for the price. Pretty small so it fits well into engine bays and doesn’t get hot at all, even after a couple hours of being on. Colour temp seems to be around 3500k though, so not pure white.

Hopefully, you can find whatever is on sale in-store.

We tried ordering a couple of sale items online a few months ago 2x and both orders were cancelled and sent this template message 2x:

Unfortunately your order no. xxx has been cancelled due to one of the following reasons:
  • The items in your order are no longer available to ship.
  • You requested that the order be cancelled.

We did not cancel!

And then 1 month later:

Thank you for shopping with us! We hope you'll write about your 2,000 Lumen Tactical LED Flashlight while it's still fresh on your mind.

Lol

I almost picked it up today except I just didn’t know how bright 1000 lumen was. I have a snap-on branded from Costco which is at 2000lumen and it’s super nice but it’s kind of bulky for engine bay and this one appears to be much more smaller.

A possible alternative is the 900 lumen flashlight from Dollarama for just $4bucks!

The thing is blazing bright and takes AA batteries (so you can use rechargeables - not as convenient as plugging into USB though).

I was going to suggest that, nice alternative. This is the one, takes 3 AAA (included). Bonus points if you don't blind yourself in store lol.

Looks like it might be sold out. Link is bringing to a general page and I can not find the item via search.

If I'm wrong can someone post a different direct link?

Seems good. I will buy one if i am going to their store. AA batteries flash light can never be as bright as li or110v in my opinion.
If I buy something that is not in deep discounted, my father will punish me; everyone will laugh at me. I will be the strange kid who doesn't fit in.

if you need a small led light for working in tight spaces just make your own with an led bulb and cord. Cheaper and great for confined spaces.

You're not wrong though - I think PA will take down the item page before it goes in the flyer for the hot buy/flyer/whatever items.
