I wish they had a smaller torque wrench on sale. This one is 20 ft-lb minimum, which is fine for things like wheel lug nuts, but no good for stuff like valve cover bolts, where the right torque is critical to compress the gasket by the right amount.

Honestly I've never felt the need for a torque wrench for wheel lug nuts. I just put them on good and tight by feel using a lug nut wrench about a foot long, sized right for the task. Double check that they're tight after driving a bit. Never had an issue with too tight or too loose.

Different SKU, likely does not contain plastic case for OP's deal. That one is 10-150 lb ft.

someone on the 24.99 thread (different sku) posted photo from the store that had 18.88 price tags on the shelf from a while back. Lots of posters said 25 one was better quality.

Note: my dad bought the same 1/2 and it failed in him but princess auto return policy is pretty damn good. Replaced and his is going on strong

What's the return policy like?? I have a 3/8 torque wrench from princess auto that failed. Been a bit over a year now and lost the receipt...

Thx Ops any suggestions on reasonable price, no rush for 1/4 inch torque, 3/8 torque wrench for bike and smaller bolts.

Does it come in a case like the $25 one that was on sale a few weeks ago?

Yes its a different SKU

No it does not - it only has plastic packaging
It looks almost identical to the one that was $25 in the blue case *shrugs*

Really? Is $18.88 regular price or sale price?
