[Princess Auto] 1/2 in. x 100 ft Retractable Garden Hose Reel - $108.88

With all the discussion around the Gardena 115ft hose reel I’ve kept an eye on PA and this is now in stock online and in-store for curbside!

Both PA and Gardena are 1/2” but I’m interested to know if the Gardena hose is better quality. Comments would be appreciated!

I'm positive that the Gardena hose and components are of better quality but not sure it's 2-3 times better. I recently purchased the 65' retractable hose reel from PA and its quality is fine. And PA has a lifetime return policy which makes it better. You can see if it makes it past one year which is generally when quality faults appear.

I'm 100% willing to buy Gardena, but I can't seem to find one in stock anywhere, regardless of hose length. I might pick one of these up because they're available. Not much else to it, unfortunately.

Call the shops around, even tho there's no stock online.

I also grabbed one of these after following the CT Gardena thread.
The price and PA warranty sealed the deal.
Ordered yesterday and awaiting in-store pick up confirmation.

How does the PA warranty work if they don't have the same item in stock within a year or beyond the 1st year?

Looks pretty much the same. 100ft one is 10lbs more.
I'm trying to decide between the 2. I really need 75ft. So 65ft with an occasional 10ft leader, or $20 more for 100ft reel.

Anyone have any PA coupons? I know sometime they will give some in store like 15$ off 75$ that can also be used online :)

Yes, just because they don't have them listed available on line, doesn't always mean they don't have some in store.

And yes, swivels 180°.

Bigger is better because you're not always pulling and using on a straight line. Eg. I need to go around the car, can't go thru it.

Didn’t even know there was a PA in Elmira. Only Kitchener and brantford show up when searching.

I got two of the 65ft version last year and they are definitely worth the money. Never have to deal with unwieldy garden hoses ever again.
