I like the scale on the bottom edge. Great price. Thanks OP 👍🏻

I'd trade it all for a little more.

Lol. I bought the Fatmax one but I think I'll return it and get this. I like that it has a ruler on the edge.

I bought the 12in one (when it was 2.99$), the build quality is... ho hum. The magnet's strength is ok, not as weak as the typical cheapo torpedo levels.

had to look up what are torpedo level: between 6-12 inch with tapered end, they’re ideal for working in tight space, fit in pocket, etc.

this is a torpedo level? doesn't look tapered in the tiny image.

Picked this up yesterday. Seems sturdy and has measurement on both sides.

Be sure to check that the level is level. I went through 10 at CTC before I found a perfect level.

Interesting. Did you check it with another level? If so, how do you know the one you tested against is level?

Put the level on a flat surface, the store floor or counter. Make a note where the bubble is located. Doesn’t matter if the surface is level.
Now leaving it exactly in the same place rotate the level 180 deg. Ie right to left. If the bubble is in exactly the same location the level is perfect. If the bubble has moved in either direction it’s defective. No point in owning a level that isn’t perfect.
