[Princess Auto] 30cal METAL Ammo Cans $9.99 + POLY Ammo Can $4.99 + Free S&H

1. 30cal METAL Ammo Can - $9.99

Found the VERY hard to find 30cal ammo cans for $10 at Princess Auto. Plus with the new free shipping offer, this is a smoking deal! I had ordered five - and they showed up mint with no rust and excellent waterproof seals.

2. 30cal POLY Ammo Can - $4.99

For those who prefer the plastic 30cal box, they are on sale for $4.99 and free shipping too.

Edit: Appears the 50cal poly cans were switched for the 30cal ones even though the link is the same. Thx to those who pointed it out.

Can these be used for generic ammo? Looking for something for 9mm, 22 and 30-6 ammo. Also would you folks recommend the plastic or metal containers?

wondering the same, I have .223, but does the metal hold in like if something explodes?

Yes they work for all ammo. It's just basically a big waterproof box. The 30cal holds about 400 rounds of 9mm comfortably or about 300 of 5.56mm.

Suggest the metal ones as they are more sturdy (being metal) and stackable. But they are smaller than the poly ones.

No chance. Also shooting a gun out of someone’s hands doesn’t happen as well.

The ammo does not explode. Even in a fire.
It pops like popcorn.
It does not have enough energy to pierce cardboard.
These cans are absolutely safe, for whatever ammo.

For the RC hobbyist with tonnes of lipo batteries everywhere, like me, these are also good for storing lipo battery safely.
