I'm a mover.

Not many scenarios where this would be prefer over the solid deck dolly.

For $10, it beats having no dolly. I recently moved and Uhaul rents this exact type out for $10 per day.

Princess Auto have many dolly, but $10 this is deal.

We buy professional dolly, but not $10.

We have metal dolly too and heavy for me to move. The boys use it for move safe.

18" x 24" This size is standard and the boys like this size.

Bigger solid top carpet dollies we use are are 24" x 36" and 24" x 48" for 1,500 lbs. Use less because they get heavy to carry when move all day.

We not like the 30" wide dollies because some doors are only 32" wide.

At this price, its one of those tools I have no use for but damn I'm sure I'd be happy to have it that one random day sometime down the road.

Make sure you look at the dimensions of things you're moving with this.
Saw it in store and the 30 x 18 face is really not big enough for anything more than small boxes.

Edit: actually maybe it was the smaller 12 x 18 one I was looking at that has the exact same design... 30 should be a good size.

I think some of the guys on here said they use these to stack their extra sets of tires on so they are easier to move. Would be a great price for that.

I was of the same view. Then I realized it just takes up needed space in the garage. When I move again, I can look to pick one up. Too much crap in the home just leads to more clutter.

Great price! The castor wheels themselves are worth more then the $10. If you need wheels for anything, buy this and take it off.

I got these last time they were on sale (2 for $25; one was the larger 1000lb one and the other was this smaller 500lb one) when we were moving condos.

Now they hold our storage crates in our storage unit; makes it easy to shuffle things around when we need to down there. They hold enough weight for us and they are definitely handy to have around, especially at this price.

Exactly, something to take up space to save what... $10 bucks?

My space is more precious than saving $10 for something that may or may not be used for an indefinite amount of time.

Take a second to stop and think whether a deal is worth it in more general terms, other than just HOLY SHIT I SAVE $10, BUY NOW THINK LATER
