It’s a harder surface than typical mousepads, but I use a smaller version on my counter for a mouse pad. It’s ok. The problem is, every time I go to my local to get these on sale, they are OOS, and ordering online sits there for a week then they cancel my order claiming OOS as well. It happened again last week with the bigger version. Anyway, good luck.

How often does the larger one (36x24) come on sale and for what price? I saw lots of the current sale (18x24 for $8.88) in store today.
Bought sept 2020 for 18.88 they cycle through the sizes for figure large on will go on sale with in a month or so.
