I love the roof top tent "Colour may not be exactly as shown" = "Who knows what'll come out of the shipping container once we open it up in Winnipeg!"

The Tekz pry bars are surprisingly good - especially for the price. I've had mine for more than a year and have put some considerable strain on them. They are nice and stiff. I also have the strikeable pry bars PA sometimes puts on sale - the Tekz are superior.

Also - crazy good deal on the Channellock 909's. If you've only ever used the stamped steel crimpers that often come with connector assortments, prepare to have your mind blown. Beware though, the 909's began a Channellock-buying habit for me.

Yikes, this is the best PA flyer in awhile for me! Smiling Face With Open Mouth

Page 35 has the Titan micro swivel-head bit ratchet I've been eyeing for awhile... FOR $13?! That's considerably less than MSRP for that tool.

It's a fine tooth ratchet. There's two versions and it doesn't say which one PA is selling - the anodized aluminum handle version or the chrome vanadium. For that price I don't care, but I think it's the CRV version because the aluminum has some extra ridges (probably to add strength).

Same page has my favorite socket holder too. Well, I like Ernst's better, but that's like 3x the price. I'll be snagging a couple more of those.

Princess Auto cancelled so many items from my orders, saying they were out of stock even when their website showed (many) in stock. WTF.

The website for that product number says it's chrome-vanadium.

Nice! That's the one I want (although the blue ano version is really pretty).

I wonder how they got a 90-tooth mechanism in that tiny ratchet head. Maybe it's a dual-pawl arrangement?

Their online order fulfillment is downright brutal.

I wish I could place an order for in store pickup for what they have available and for them to ship the rest. I've had orders stall out because one thing isn't in stock and while they're waiting for a restock sell the other items and then end up not getting the thing I actually really needed. I could have just got the 75% of my order that was in stock in my local store with store pickup and they could have shipped the couple bits that were outstanding - instead they shipped it all at considerable cost.

I do still love them though and they're trying their best. They've probably wasted hundreds of dollars on my online orders with their goofy fulfillment. I added 6 clearance ratchet straps to my last order and they shipped one from winnipeg and one from calgary. The rest of the order is still lost in space.

My guess, based on all the multiple shipments I received from all over the country (even though it was all in one order) is that PA doesn't have a centralized distribution centre for online orders. I suspect that they are pulling stock and shipping from retail stores in many cases.

they always do that, a few times they said they cant find it, but one kid was actually honest with me, they're not allowed to pull sale items form warehouse stock, they get a set amount at the start of the sale and that's it, even though they have it in the back, they're not allowed to restock it.

So if you want a sale item online, you need to get it shipped to you, i never seem to have a problem getting items shipped, its just ISPU that they cancel. Or you go in and buy it a few days before the sale starts, if you have the paper flyer they'll adjust the price right then, if not, just go back for a price adjustment later.

They 100% are doing that. It shows the store number on the credit card authorization. I've also seen the employees pulling orders while in the store.

Yussss those 3" casters are back on sale. They're solid for anyone that needs them. Looks like I have some mobile bases coming up in my future.
