Looks like a good deal. Is it safe to use this to lift an almost 2 ton car for tire swap?

Yup. It will be perfectly fine since you’re not lifting the entire car at once.

You should flip the car upside down to change the tires. Otherwise the tire fluids will leak.

saw a yt vid of it collapsing and it was scary stuff - the teeth on the pawls were not grooved deep enough causing it to collapse under load while getting bumped

3" that's not a lot of clearance, but good enough to take it off.. and although it's probably just the angle of the pic, it looks like the back wheel of that jack is off the ground
