Blue Yetis are much larger than 0.82 inches (closer to 2.5 inches), so it won't work.

Reduces vibration noises from transferring to the microphone. So if you bang your table where your mic is mounted it won't pick up as much of it when it's on a shock mount.

I could never make these work size wise after trying multiple off of Amazon . I have the ATR-2100x. Will this fit that mic system?

what kind of thread is 0.82 inch? I'm aware of 1/4, 3/8, and 5/8 threads, but never heard of a 0.82 inch thread?

My boom arm uses 3/8" and a lot of mics use 5/8"

Is there a way to get free store ship/ pickup?

My local store doesn’t have stock/ free shipping seems to be over $100.

i made the same mistake when I first read it. It is the diameter of the barrel of the microphone that has to be 0.82" or 13/16". i assume it mounts to a standard 3/8" boom arm thread.

21mm (approx. 0.83") is a standard for mounting large-diaphragm condenser microphones to a shock mount. Most studio mics have the threads at the bottom of the mic for attaching a shockmount. For example:

On some models, you need to unscrew the bottom cap to see the threads.

Yeah, it's too bad, I wanted one but it's not worth driving to Barrie for a $5 item.
