Man, that's kind of heavy to drag out to the driveway.

You could stack 2 or 3 rogues on top of each other and still not hit 13,000 pounds, so yes.

The only downside to using ramps is if you need to take off a skid plate which requires the car to be higher off the ground. More specifically, if you have a 03-09 4runner, you will still need a jack and jack stands.

I didn't mean in terms of weights. Would i have enough clearance to do oil changes without using any additional stands

Oh haha I gotcha. I would say almost definitely...I used to use ramps similar to this to do oil changes on a lowered sedan without issues (it was a bit tricky to remove the skid plate, but it was doable). The Rogue has pretty good clearance already so I bet you're good to go (unless you have a weird skid plate like the 4Runner mentioned above).

Edit: 2014+ looks good to go with ramps: https://theweekendmechanic.com/nissan-r ... ange-2014/

You would have more clearance than a sedan. So, if it works on a sedan, I am sure its good enough for a compact SUV.

I've had no issues taking the skid plate off my GX470 using ramps. I actually prefer ramps over jack + jackstands for oil changes. I only go for my jacks if i need to take off the wheels.

If you read the title, it reads like the ramps are 13,000lbs, not that they support up to 13,000lbs. Hence, the joke that they would be too heavy to drag.

Looks like a good deal. But I'm hesitant to put my life in the hands of anything power fist.

put jack stands just below the ramp, so in case it fails, you are covered.

do it 10 times if it doesn't fail yet, the 11 probably not failing anymore.

I have been using 2 wood blocks as ramp for 20 years... Can someone justify me to upgrade to this ramp (very tempting, but I am cheap…)? The wood blocks served the exact purpose and free of cost.

ETA : uploaded the actual cedar blocks that I have been using for 20 years...
