[Princess Auto] Princess Auto: 6pk 2032 batteries $1.88

https://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/ ... -p8692220e

Just stumbled upon this while checking some stuff out. Always good to have 2032 batteries on hand for watches or bike blinkie lights or flashlights, etc.

The weather finally warmed up in Toronto. More folks are trying out the bikes yet sundown is about 19:30ish so a good time to get fresh batteries into keychain lights or bike lights to stay safe and seen if you are caught outside after dark.

Affordable and not bulky enough to carry a full 6pk in a bike bag to help others out as well.

Ikea has recently increased the price of their CR20132 batteries from 8/2.49 to 8/2.99. So this is a better deal while it lasts. Thanks

For some reason I'm highly doubting that.

Too bad, we are still waiting for a princess auto in QC.. :(

We are supposed to get our first one later this fall, but they chose St.Jerome for the first location. Still a good half hour drive from Montreal.. They still haven't announced second location.
They don't seem to want Montreal (which is fine), but if they had chosen somewhere in between, like in Laval at least, they could have easily served both their north shore and Montreal customers...
And then second store in the South shore somewhere to serve that side... Oh well, we'll see...

For now, I usually get my cheap CR2032 at ikea or from places like Maddison (still 3 for $1). But these cheap ones are fine for low drain devices.. But stuff that sucks more juice, you are better off with name brand. Usually I get strips of Sony, Duracell or Energizer (whatever I can find decent sales on) through amazon. Something like this - comes to about $0.60 each, which is about double this deal, but they last a fair amount longer.

The Sunbeams ones form Dollarama weren't too bad, would trust that over other unbranded batteries.

When you guys have extras laying around how do you store them, freezer, basement...?

I usually order about 6 at a time for my car key FOB's and change them out annually.

Great price for CR2032 batteries. CR2032 batteries can be used for luggage weigh scales, small remotes, and computer motherboards. Cheap but not worth the drive to Princess Auto unless I need something else. At a $1.19 a liter for gas it's better to just buy the CR3032s at Dollarama.

Thanks for the update. Good thing I picked up a couple packs last year at the old price, $2.49

That's the fun of Princess Auto. There's always like 8 other things that you could buy there.

The lithium ones are that price, which are used for high drain applications.
