Hmm these would be ideal for tilting my desktop speakers towards my ears.

Unless your desktop is on the ground or you are 10-feet tall, I don't see how these could possibly work for that application.

Any better than the yellow plastic ones that everybody seems to have?

If those are anything like the pair I have for my truck, they are well worth it. I have these, also on sale, and they are heavy duty!!

In for these, going to build some ramps out of 2x10 for my car for DIY maintenance.

The ones in this photo are no good, way too steep. The tire has to roll partly onto the chock otherwise it'll just get pushed along the ground.

key word is for his truck, if it was not that steep, a "truck" will just run right over it.

I have a pair of those going on sale, nice and sturdy, just worried about the rubber breaking down over the years.

Says for trailer...is it ok for the car?

These are nice, much better than the cheap plastic ones and most of the metal ones from Amazon, CT, HD, Napa, etc.

But I prefer the older ones without the eyelet but were about half an inch taller that went for about $8 or $9 when on sale, they were the exact same ones Race Ramp charges $33 for a pair.

Trust me these won’t get pushed along. My 8000lb 1 ton with 37” tires won’t move them. I have even forgot to move them and tried to drive away and it held it back. They even have metal cleats embedded on the bottom.

I use leftover pieces of 4x4 lumber, drill a hole through one end and tie a loop of rope on it to grab easier.
